My name is Chris Cranford.
A graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, I have worked as a director, photographer, and editor for over 20 years for clients in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and my hometown of Little Rock.
In July of 2014 my brothers and I formed our own company, Cranford Co., which is a full-service advertising, communications, and digital production company.
My work has won the local Best of Broadcast Addy Award for 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2015 I won the Best of Photography Award. The photography and campaign went on to win three National Addy awards.
I also enjoy taking still photographs, especially playing with chemicals in the dark room and processing and printing from film negatives. In 2013, a photograph I took with a Holga plastic camera won First Place in New York’s SoHo Photo Gallery’s International Krappy Kamera competition, and was also accepted into the Plastic Fantastic show at LightBox Photographic Gallery in Oregon. In 2015 a Holga photograph I took in Nepal was featured as part of San Francisco’s Rayko Photo Center’s 8th Annual International Juried Plastic Camera Show. Again in 2016, two of my prints were accepted into SoHo Photo Gallery’s show and Rayko’s Plastic Camera Show.
